Am Torrey Pines State Beach liegt hellerer Sand über dunklem und immer, wenn sich die Wellen zurückziehen und ein Hindernis da liegt, entstehen die unterschiedlichsten Muster. Woher kommt der hellere Sand? Von der Klippe, an deren Fuß der Strand liegt und auf der sich Wanderwege durch den Torrey Pines State Reserve ziehen. Also kommt zuerst mit auf eine kleine Wanderung und dann an den Strand. (2016)

No not an artist with easel, brush and paint, but IT, simply by moving back. At the Torrey Pines State Beach there is lighter sand over darker sand and always, when the waves move back and an obstacle lies there, the most different patterns are created. Where does the lighter sand come from? From the cliff, at the foot of which the beach is. On top of the cliff are hiking trails which lead through the Torrey Pines State Reserve. So first join me for a short hikeand then to the beach. (2016)
