Jerry’s Buch Spectacular in a Losing Effort erscheint. Ich hatte das große Privileg, das Buch, in dem Jerry seine bisherige Lebensgeschichte anhand von Reisen beginnend in seiner frühsten Jugend bis heute erzählt, vorab zu lesen. Warum? Nun, Jerry bat mich, einen Klappentext dazu zu schreiben. Jetzt – zum Erscheinen des Buchs – habe ich ein Gespräch mit ihm geführt und einiges zu den Hintergründen zum Entstehen des humorvoll geschriebenen Buchs erfahren. Die National Parks in den USA sind oft die Hauptdarsteller.

Jerry’s book Spectacular in a Losing Effort is published. I had the great privilege of reading the book in advance, in which he tells his life story so far, starting from his earliest youth to the present day. Why could I read the book in advance? Well, Jerry asked me to write a blurb for it. Now – on the occasion of the book’s publication – I had a conversation with him and learned a few things about the background to the creation of this humorously written book. The National Parks are often the main characters.
